As you pull together the last details of your holiday celebration do you find yourself feeling like you forgot something? You’ve got the full menu planned for Christmas Eve, Christmas morning, and Christmas dinner. The gifts are almost all wrapped but there are always a few stragglers requiring late night covert wrapping it seems. The tree is trimmed. Stockings hung. If you are lucky, Eggnog planned and Christmas carol CD’s selected.
It’s usually about right now that I panic realizing I forgot to plan refreshments for Santa. A blogger friend recently shared in her family growing up they did not put out the compulsory glass of milk for Santa with the home baked cookies, but rather Scotch. She never questioned it though now as an adult and a parent, the wisdom of the act makes clear sense. But of course Santa needs to have something to eat along with his Scotch; my kids wouldn’t hear of any less.
In the event of time running thin, I’ve rounded up 10 30-Minute-or-Less Gluten-Free Holiday Treat recipes. They run the gamut, all delicious and simple ways to celebrate the occasion whether it be for family festivities or to leave Santa a nosh.
Note: the recipes requiring chilling may exceed 30 minutes depending on your refrigerator but recipe preparation and most of the chilling should not exceed 30 minutes.
