Somehow the holidays pull me away from all I know is good about eating. Once the Champs starts flowing, the rich meals are rolling, and decadent desserts become a daily affair, vegetables go out the window for me. I just can’t make them happen.
To get myself back on track I need to dip them. It feels like more of an occasion than a chore. Adding some extra flavor and protein is a win and now my fridge is full of prepared veggies and I am feeling all the better for it too!
With football playoff games coming and entertaining throngs of friends along with it, 5-minute Smoked Paprika Garlic Bean Dip is a must have. You can put together a tray as shown in the photos in less than 10 minutes! Use vegetables, chips and/or crackers you love to dip in this delicious spicy 5-minute Smoked Paprika Garlic Bean Dip!
How to Make a Vegetable and 5-Minute Smoked Paprika Garlic Bean Dip Tray in Minutes
Keeping your refrigerator stocked with containers of prepared vegetables allows creating a quick assortment of dipping choices for a light meal on the fly or for company (it’s great to have on hand for healthy snacking too). If you don’t want to do the prep yourself, take advantage of the prepared vegetables sold in grocery stores (all stores seem to have caught on to busy lives needing help with food prep).
Crisp Vegetable Trick: If you find your celery or carrots have become soft or pliable but are still fresh, cut them into serving sizes and put them in a bowl of ice water. They will firm back up to have the crisp crunch you love! You can store them in glass jars or containers in water too to keep them crisp all the time.
What does 5-Minute Smoked Paprika Garlic Bean Dip taste like?
Creamy cannellini beans are a perfect blend with the smoky, slighty spicy flavors from the paprika, garlic and black pepper. This dip has some zip!
How to make 5-Minute Smoked Paprika Garlic Bean Dip – Step by Step:
It sounds silly to say ‘step by step’ for this recipe because it’s one step: put everything in a mini chopper, food processor or blender and puree until smooth. Bam! That’s it.
Best Recipe Prep Tip: I use an electric mini chopper for everything and it is the perfect device for this type of task. All the ingredients fit easily, and it whips up the dip in minutes. Essentially a mini food processor, the electric mini chopper is an appliance that is affordable (between $15-$35) and will cut time out of ingredient prep for any chopping or dicing tasks.
