Ingredients

  • 2 large Mangoes ripe yet firm, peeled, pit removed; chopped into ½ inch cubes
  • 1 medium-large Jalapeno Chile Pepper de-stemmed, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped Red Onion
  • ¼ cup fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl: mangoes, jalapeno peppers, red onion, lime juice and cilantro.
  • Stir to fully combine and salt to tate. Serve with salty tortilla chips!

Notes

Ingredient notes
Choose mangoes that are ripe but still firm for easiest cutting into pieces.
*Chile peppers can vary greatly in heat. I suggest adding a few tablespoons of chile pepper to the salsa, stir to combine and taste. Add more based on your heat preference/tolerance.

Storing Salsa
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Can be made the day before for more flavor blending.
