Cake Mix Apple Cobbler

Sweet, cinnamon-spiced apples topped with golden, crumbly cake mix topping. Home baked goodness in a much easier recipe perfect any time.

Ingredients

  • 2 20-ounce cans apple pie filling
  • 1 15-ounce box yellow cake mix regular or gluten-free
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9-inch by 13-inch baking dish. Cut the apples into bite-sized pieces, if desired.

  • In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the cake mix and melted butter until pea sized crumbles begin to form.
    1 15-ounce box yellow cake mix, 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Sprinkle the cake mix mixture evenly over the top of the apples pie filling.
  • Bake 50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Allow to rest for around 30 minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

Storing leftovers
After the cobbler has cooled cover tightly with plastic wrap or foil OR place in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
