Bloody Maria Shots

Bloody Maria's are spicy, tequila tomato-juice cocktails that command attention. Unlike super sweet sippers, they are a savory cocktail making them a great pairing with food. In this Halloween context they offer a respite from the sweet treats which abound.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Blanco Tequila
  • 1 5.5- ounce can Tomato Juice
  • ½ ounce fresh Lime Juice
  • 8 dashes Worchesteshire Sauce
  • 8 dashes Tabasco Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Horseradish Cream
  • Pinch Smoked Salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients into a shaker or quart Mason Jar. Seal, shake vigorously.
  • Serving in shot syringes: place the open end in the Bloody Maria liquid and withdraw the plunger to suck the cocktail into the syringe.
  • May be served chilled or room temperature. If wishing them to be chilled, combine the tomato juice and tequila in a jar and chill in the refrigerator. Mix the cocktails as described.
