This Dill Green Onion Cheese Ball is a creamy, tangy combination of irresistible flavors perfect for a casual appetizer. It can be coated in dried or fresh, chopped dill weed.
1 8-ouncepackage Cream Cheese, room temperature or softened
4-ouncesGoat Cheese, room temperature
4ouncesshredded Gouda Cheese, room temperature (1/2 cup)
¼cupUnsalted Butter, room temperature
½teaspoonWorcestershire Sauce
2tablespoonsthinly sliced Scallions
1teaspoonplus 1 tablespoon dried Dill Weed
Instructions
Combine the cream cheese, goat cheese, gouda, butter and Worcestershire sauce in the bowl of stand mixer equipped with the paddle attachment and mix on medium until fully combined and fluffy. Alternatively, a hand mixer can be used.
Add the scallions and 1 teaspoon dried dill weed and mix in on low.
Scrape the mixture out of the mixing bowl onto a piece of plastic wrap, shape roughly into a ball (will be reshaped when chilled) and wrap tightly. Chill for a minimum of 4 hours.
Remove from refrigerator, shape into a ball and roll to cover with dill. Serve with crackers.
